I am an author and risk management professional who has a passion for learning.  My desire to continue to learn about the world has led me down many paths and has resulted in the accumulation of knowledge and experiences which I have turned into short stories, books and blog posts.  I enjoy visiting local, state and National parks, but also enjoy walking through neighborhoods in large cities just the same.  Local and off-the-beaten path experiences excite me and I cherish my time spent on trails and amid blue skies, mountains, lakes and streams.​
